About the Site

Hoop-Math presents college basketball statistics derived from play-by-play data. Want to know how often your favorite team or player gets a shot up at the rim, or scores in transition? Hoop-Math exists to answer these sorts of questions.

For the first two years that I ran this site, I made all of the stats avaliable free of charge. As of the start of the 2013-2014 basketball season, I am charging for access to some of the stats, while some are still free. Basically, everything that was free before this change will still be free, but many of the new stats I have started tracking will only be avaliable to subscribers. Luckily, subscriptions are cheap, at $15 per year.

Find out more about the various things subscribers get by checking out an example team page.
